Our Story: Who We Are
We are Nidhi and Mohak, a Dubai-based couple who share an equal love for creativity, calmness, and meaningful experiences. I am Nidhi, a content creator, entrepreneur, and performer. I founded NKD Studios and NKD Media, and I have spent more than 15 years dancing, choreographing, acting, and creating digital content. My world is colourful, expressive, and always in motion.
Mohak is the grounding force in my life. He is an entrepreneur originally from London and now settled in the UAE. He brings structure, clarity, and a peaceful balance to our relationship. Together, we are a blend of passion and calmness, and we wanted our wedding to reflect that harmony in every possible way. Our celebration was a beautiful reminder that we had truly #FoundNiMo.
What We Envisioned for Our Wedding
From the beginning, we knew we wanted each event to feel completely different from the previous one. We both love details, and we both wanted every moment to feel intentional. We wanted every function to tell a different chapter of our story. Our brief to Ikigaii Planners was simple. Nothing should look repeated, and nothing should feel predictable. Each day must create a new world for our guests and must show a different side of who we are. Fun, elegant, emotional, and full of surprises.
Why We Chose Ikigaii Planners
Weddings can feel overwhelming, even for people used to big productions and creative work. We needed a planning team that understood us on a personal level. We wanted people who respected our ideas and who could turn them into reality with precision and heart. Ikigaii Planners felt like the right choice from the very first call. Their calm nature and their aesthetic sense matched everything we were looking for.
The Ikigaii Experience
Working with Ikigaii felt like having a second family throughout the wedding journey. They listened deeply and executed beautifully. They handled every detail with so much care. Day One – Too Hot to Haldi: Our Amalfi Inspired Pool Party #FoundNiMo
Venue: La Piscina, Palazzo Versace Dubai
We began our celebrations with a bright Amalfi-inspired haldi pool party. The colours were fresh and joyful with shades of yellow and blue everywhere. The energy felt warm and happy, and the décor created the perfect sunny atmosphere for the start of our wedding.
What We Wore
Nidhi wore Confetti by Ishika, and Mohak wore Rachit Khanna.
All jewellery for the function was customised by Fatma Creations.
The haldi felt like a burst of sunshine and set the tone for the days ahead.
Day One – Welcome Dinner: A Night Under the Stars
Venue: Vanitas Restaurant, Palazzo Versace
The evening turned into something soft and celestial. The entire restaurant shimmered with fairy lights and crystals, which created a dreamy night sky feeling. Our favourite detail was the personal touch on every table. Each table had small fun facts about us. Our guests loved reading the menu, and it instantly opened conversations.

Mohak wore Alexander McQueen.
The atmosphere felt intimate and magical, and it was the perfect transition from a daytime celebration to an evening of soft, glowing moments with the saxophone played by Arthur and our friends holding sparklers as we entered. #FoundNimo
Day Two – Mehendi: The Indian Carnival
Venue: Como Garden
Our Mehendi was pure happiness. We wanted a full carnival experience, and Ikigaii brought that vision to life in the most colourful way. The décor had strong pink tones and the entire space was filled with stalls, a chudi wala, mehendi artists, jugglers, stilt walkers, and even two salsa dancers in costume. Our stage backdrop had hand-drawn sketches of both of us, and the dance floor was filled with bright designs.
Guests had something exciting to look at everywhere they turned. The function felt loud, fun, and completely alive.

My prandi was customised by Fatma Creations.

Day Two – Sangeet: Bollywood Starry Night
Venue: Palazzo Versace Ballroom
Our Sangeet felt like we had stepped straight into a Bollywood film. The ballroom was transformed with dramatic black and red tones, and the space carried a glamorous cinematic atmosphere. The highlight of the décor was the set of life-size Bollywood-style posters of us and our guests and we absolutely loved taking pictures with them.
We danced, performed, cried and lived every emotional moment of the night. #FoundNimo

Day Three – The Pheras: A Timeless Versace Wedding
Venue: Main Pool, Palazzo Versace
Our pheras were everything we had dreamed about. The pastel pink and white mandap was set over the Versace pool looking like a floating mandap overlooking the waterfront. The soft colours and the calm atmosphere created a divine sense of peace.
Mohak entered on a horse, and I walked down a long aisle that I had always imagined for my wedding day. It was a moment filled with emotion and stillness. It felt like time paused for us. #FoundNimo

Mohak wore a Tarun Tahiliani.
The setting, the colours and the emotions created a memory that will stay with us for life.
Day Three – Reception: Hollywood Noir Glamour
Venue: Palazzo Versace Ballroom
We ended our celebrations with a grand reception inspired by Hollywood Noir. The ballroom had crystals hanging from the ceiling, a black and white stage and lighting that created old-world cinematic charm. It felt polished and sophisticated. Every detail was elegant and perfectly balanced. #FoundNimo
